Have been there several times, but this was the best. Warm evening on the patio out front with a band playing live music accross the street. Food was great and I was not rushed to clear the table even though people were waiting. Lawn bowling upstairs in the back is a great place to spend time as well.

Although Brits is usually overrun/overpacked with people who clearly care little about Britain or British beer, the food and the beer are both excellent. Any place that has Fuller's ESB on tap gets full marks in my book. I love the atmosphere, and if it weren't for the aforementioned clientele, this place would be tops in the Twin Cities. As it stands, if you want some great English pub ales in a great English pub atmosphere, check out Brits.

Dudes, your pub rocks! but are you playing the world cup rugby games live? I'm a kiwi visiting Minneapolis and need to find a place that has Setanta Sports channel playing the world cup rugby live. Any suggestions or are you playing it? Cheers, Tony.

I'd like to comment on the place, however, that picture of the queen puts me off my beer selection every single time. If I want to view portraits of family members that have had sex with other family members throughout the ages, I'll head to Kentucky. The divine right to rule, me arse.

So the service is questionable and there is an arrogance about the place. The place is British, what do you expect? This is one of our favorite places to have a beer in the Cities. Yes it is a bit pricey, but most places downtown are. I do wish they offered some authentic real ales to complete the British experience. (Maybe Sherlock's could send a couple firkins over.)

Service was terrible!! The beer selection was good, but didn't seem all that fresh. The crowd was very stuck up, and not friendly. Prices were high.
